Applications

The window motor is the drive element of the power window lifter - after the window switch is pressed, the motor moves the regulator mechanism, raising or lowering the glass. A faulty motor shows up as the window not responding to the switch, slow movement or the window being completely stuck in position.

Construction and quality

The motor is made of durable copper and wear-resistant alloy steel with anti-corrosion protection, which extends its service life. The 2-pin connector provides a solid electrical connection to the vehicle's wiring.

Installation

The part is designed for installation in the front left window. Installation involves removing the window regulator (while supporting the glass), removing the old motor and installing the new one in reverse order. The regulator gear and assist spring work with the motor when moving the glass.
