Use

An automotive relay is an electromechanical switch that controls high-power circuits (e.g. fans, fuel pumps, auxiliary lights, horns) with a low-current control signal. This keeps the vehicle's critical electrical components from being loaded with high current, and makes the installation safer and more durable. This model is a 5-pin changeover relay, mounted in a standard relay socket.

Quality and durability

A Bosch product, made of materials that provide up to 250,000 on/off cycles. The rated current is 60 A, which allows it to handle loads of up to about 720 W at 12 V. The contacts are made of silver, which ensures low resistance and stable current conduction. The housing has an IP5K4 protection rating, the connectors IP20, and the operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C allows use in harsh conditions.

Installation

Standard plug-in connections allow quick and simple installation without modifying the wiring. The relay is supplied without a bracket, ready to plug into an existing relay socket in the fuse box.
