Use

The immobilizer module (transponder bypass module) is a component installed in a vehicle when fitting a remote engine starter or a car alarm. It enables proper communication between the remote start system and the factory immobilizer by simulating the presence of a spare key with a transponder chip in the ignition, so the engine can be started remotely without the physical presence of the key.

Practical use

The module is intended for installers and users integrating a remote starter or car alarm with the factory immobilizer system. It requires a spare vehicle key to operate - if the key is larger than the module housing, it is possible to remove just the chip or the PCB and place it inside the module.

Construction

The module is made of plastic, in a multicolor finish, with a low weight of 80 g, which makes discreet installation in the space under the dashboard or near the ignition easy.
