Ejoyous aluminum coolant expansion tank

The expansion tank is a part of the cooling system that stores excess coolant expanding with temperature and lets air escape from the system. This 350 ml tank is made of polished aircraft aluminum, which gives it high resistance to corrosion and to the high temperatures in the engine bay.

Role in the cooling system

A properly working expansion tank prevents coolant leaks from the system, reduces crankcase pressure and improves the efficiency of the whole cooling system. It makes filling and maintaining the system easier and lets air escape effectively, which lowers the risk of local engine overheating.

Application

The product is universal and suits most passenger cars and SUVs as a replacement for a worn or damaged expansion tank, for example when the housing is cracked or the old part leaks.

Equipment and installation

The set includes an aluminum container with a welded mounting bracket, a hose and all the necessary fasteners, which makes DIY installation easy without buying extra accessories.
