Febi Bilstein 23907 - BMW Oil Level Sensor
Offer listed on WystawCoChcesz.pl. The product is sold by the kupcochcesz.pl online shop.
Febi Bilstein 23907 - oil level sensor
The Febi Bilstein 23907 oil level sensor measures the amount of oil in the engine's oil pan and sends an analog signal to the controller, which informs the driver of a too-low oil level with a message on the dashboard. The sensor is mounted directly in the oil pan and is supplied with the seal needed for a tight fit.
Applications
The part fits many BMW models, including the 1 Series (E81, E82, E87, E88), 3 Series (E36, E46, E90, E91, E92, E93), 5 Series (E39, E60, E61, F11), 7 Series (E38, E65, E66, E67), as well as the X3 (E83), X5 (E53), Z3, Z4 and Z8, and also the Rover 75 and Land Rover, which used BMW engines. Because of the very wide range of applications across several model generations, check compatibility using your vehicle's VIN before buying.
When to replace the oil level sensor
A faulty oil level sensor may display a false low oil level message despite a correct level, or conversely - fail to warn when oil is actually low, which creates a risk of the engine running without proper lubrication. The measurement accuracy of this sensor is about 2%, and its sensing range is 111 mm.
