WF2088 spin-on coolant filter

Function

A water filter installed in the cooling system of diesel engines. It removes contaminants from the coolant and protects the system against corrosion and scale buildup, which extends the life of the water pump, radiator and cylinder liners.

Replacement

Before unscrewing the old filter, close the coolant shut-off valves (if present) and wait for the engine to cool. It is worth moistening the gasket of the new filter with coolant.
