Mapco 95933 – oil pan drain plug

The oil drain plug closes the hole in the engine oil pan and lets you drain used oil during an oil change. It is a small but important part of the engine assembly: if it is worn or has damaged threads, oil may seep from the pan, so the plug should be replaced when needed.

Use

The Mapco Autotechnik product is offered as a drain plug for the oil pan. The OEM reference numbers given by the manufacturer are BMW 11137568309 and BMW 11131742994. Before buying, compare them with the number of the part installed in your car.

Tips

• when changing the oil, check the condition of the thread in the pan,
• always fit a new seal or washer,
