Maxgear AC400731 A/C receiver drier

The receiver drier, also called a dehydrating tank, is an aluminum cylinder in the refrigerant circuit. It traps moisture and fine contaminants that could damage the compressor and the expansion valve. It is usually replaced during any major repair of the air conditioning system. This model is intended for Audi A4 B6, Skoda Superb I and VW Passat B5 and B5 FL.

Application

The drier is installed in passenger cars in the European version. It corresponds to OE numbers including 3B0820189, 3B0820193, 8E0820193C and 8E0820193R, as well as numerous replacements from other manufacturers such as Mahle AD 210 000S, Valeo 509712 or Topran 110 867.

Construction

The aluminum tank has two connections for the air conditioning lines, and the part is supplied in the manufacturer's packaging.
