Use

The spark plug is a key part of a gasoline engine's ignition system - it produces the electric spark that ignites the air-fuel mixture in the combustion chamber. A healthy spark plug ensures smooth engine running, proper starting and optimal fuel combustion. The NGK IFR7X7G is a plug from the Laser Iridium series, intended as a part fitted to a specific vehicle type.

Laser Iridium technology

The center electrode is made of iridium and laser-welded, which gives a very fine working tip. This design improves ignition capability and helps the flame front spread faster in the combustion chamber, which translates into better starting performance. The use of a precious metal significantly extends the life of the plug compared with standard nickel-electrode plugs.
