SPELAB – electric exhaust cutout 76 mm with Y-pipe and remote

How it works

The set with an electrically controlled valve in a Y-pipe lets you switch the exhaust between quiet and open mode with a single button. It is installed in a single pipe of the exhaust system, most often after the catalytic converter.

Contents and data

• stainless steel body, 3 inch (76 mm) diameter,
• 12 V valve motor,
• remote control and power wires,
• dimensions approx. 24.7 x 22 x 7.6 cm.

Important

Installation requires free space under the car and usually welding. The manufacturer warns that at temperatures below a few degrees below zero the valve may jam. An open exhaust may exceed the permitted noise level.

Vehicle fitment

Before ordering, compare the part number (OE or catalog) with the number on the part removed from the car, or check it in the vehicle manufacturer's catalog using the VIN. The list of applications is for information only – fitment depends on whether the part number, dimensions and connectors match. It is best to have the installation done by a workshop experienced with the given system.
