TRKIMAL 543 – timing chain kit for a car

The complete TRKIMAL 543 timing chain kit is intended for replacing the entire camshaft drive system in one go. The box contains a toothed chain with an 8 mm pitch and 130 links, slide rails and a chain tensioner, parts that wear together and are therefore worth replacing as a set.

Who it is for

The kit is prepared for VW group engines that carry the OE reference number 03C 109 158 A S5. The manufacturer lists the following models, among others: Volkswagen Golf V, Golf VI, Golf V Plus, Touran I and Tiguan I, Audi A3 (8P) and Skoda Octavia II Combi. OE numbers are given for comparison only, so check your car's engine code before buying.

Why replace the whole set
