WUPEDI Fuel Filler Flap for Ford Fiesta

The fuel filler flap is an exterior body part covering the fuel tank filler opening. Its job is to protect the filler cap from dirt, dust and moisture, while also giving the side of the car's body a neat finish.

Application

The flap is designed for the Ford Fiesta ST Mk7 from 2009-2016 and is a replacement for the original part numbered 8A69-F405A02-ABW. Replacing the flap is necessary when the original part is mechanically damaged, cracks at the hinge or loses its appearance due to scratches, color fading or weather exposure.

Protection and function

The part is designed to act as a sturdy cover protecting the tank from contaminants and unauthorized access, and its tight closure limits fuel evaporation, which matters both for safety and for reducing fuel loss.

Material and installation

The flap is made of a durable material resistant to rust and to the effects of rain, snow and sunlight. Installation is simple and requires no specialized tools - the part fits precisely into the original mounting in the body.
