Original Dyson pre-filter for DC19, DC20 and DC21 models

The Dyson pre-filter with part number 917819-01 (also labeled 91781901) is an original replacement part dedicated to Dyson DC19, DC20 and DC21 vacuum cleaners. Its job is to catch larger contaminants before the air reaches the main filtration system, which protects the motor and extends the life of the other filters in the vacuum cleaner.

Reusable

The filter is fully washable and designed for repeated use. Regularly rinsing it under running water and drying it thoroughly before refitting restores its original filtration effectiveness without the need to frequently replace it with a new one.

When to replace

• When the vacuum cleaner clearly starts losing suction power even though the dust bin has been emptied
• When the filter is visibly discolored, damaged or frayed
• During a standard periodic service of an upright vacuum cleaner
