Original Dyson pre-motor filter for DC23, DC23 T2 and DC32 models

The Dyson pre-motor filter, part number 919778-02, is an original replacement part fitted to Dyson DC23, DC23 T2 and DC32 vacuum cleaners. The filter traps very fine particles - down to 0.3 micrometers - including pollen, mold spores and bacteria, before the air reaches the vacuum's motor.

Regular care

The manufacturer recommends washing the filter about every 3 months, which keeps filtration effectiveness and the vacuum's suction power at a steady level. The filter is fully washable and reusable.

When to replace the filter

• When the recommended 3 months have passed since the last wash and the filter is visibly dirty
• When the vacuum starts losing suction power despite cleaning the filter
• When the filter is damaged or deformed
