Original Dyson pre-filter for DC41 and DC65 models

The Dyson pre-filter with part number 920640-01 is an original part dedicated to DC41 series vacuum cleaners (including the Animal version) and DC65. It is located before the motor and traps larger debris before the air reaches the rest of the filtration system, which relieves the main filter and protects the vacuum cleaner's motor.

Easy cleaning

The filter is washable - the manufacturer allows dishwasher washing, which greatly helps keep it in good condition. After washing, it must be dried thoroughly before refitting in the vacuum cleaner to avoid moisture inside the housing.

When to replace the filter

• When the vacuum loses suction power even though the dust container is empty
• When the filter is heavily soiled, discolored or damaged
• During routine inspection and maintenance of the vacuum cleaner
