Sony VCT-SGR1 grip for RX0 and RX100 series cameras.

Intended use:

The VCT-SGR1 grip was designed for Sony RX0 and RX100 cameras. Its purpose is to make photographing and filming from all sorts of perspectives easier, from low-angle to high-angle shots and vertical framing, which will certainly be appreciated by vloggers using these cameras.

Easier framing.

Filming yourself, as well as shooting from above or close to the ground, can be awkward. With this accessory you can set the camera tilt from 70 degrees up to 100 degrees down, and then comfortably release the shutter. This lets you capture stable, creative shots as well as self-portraits and so-called selfies.

Handy tripod.

An additional advantage of using the Sony VCT-SGR1 grip is that it can be turned into a small tripod. Just unfold its lower part. This allows you to shoot in difficult lighting conditions with long exposure times and to record vlogs.

Buttons for easier operation.

The grip has function buttons responsible for releasing the shutter, starting or stopping recording, and zoom. They are arranged so that both left- and right-handed people can use them. These functions work when the camera is connected via the microUSB port. Please also note that the zoom function is only available with cameras equipped with a zoom lens.

Versatility.

The VCT-SGR1 grip was designed mainly for RX0 and RX100 cameras, but the manufacturer states compatibility with the following models: DSC-RX0, RX100M2, RX100M3, RX100M4, RX100M5, RX100M6, HX90V, HX90, HX80, HX60V, HX60, HX50V, HX50 and WX500.
