Jaipur Gems Mart – natural emerald, micro-faceted beads 2–3 mm

Emerald, the green variety of beryl, is among the most prized gemstones. Small emerald beads let you work it into delicate jewelry without the cost of large, cut stones.

Characteristics

The strand, about 33 cm long, consists of micro-faceted rondelle-shaped beads sized 2–3 mm. The tiny facets reflect light and bring out the green of the stone. The hole is about 0.4 mm, so it is best to use a thin steel wire or silk for stringing.

Origin

The beads are hand-selected and prepared in Jaipur, India, one of the most important centers of gemstone processing. Size, color and clarity may differ slightly.
