Tamiya Extra Thin Cement 87236 – model cement 40 ml

Tamiya Extra Thin Cement is a very thin Tamiya plastic cement designed for precise gluing of polystyrene and ABS models. Thanks to its very low viscosity it works by capillary action: you just touch the brush to the fitted parts and the cement flows into the seam by itself. The name Extra Thin Cement refers precisely to this exceptionally thin consistency.

Use

It is a classic model cement for car bodies, aircraft and ships, and for thin parts where a clean seam without marks matters. It works as a cement for styrene and ABS, for example when joining hull halves. For a good result, first fit the parts together dry, and only then apply the cement with the brush. It is a basic product in the modeling chemicals category, needed for most plastic kits. It is not suitable for gluing glass or metal.
