Leryati - M6, M8 and M10 threaded inserts, set of 160 pieces

A complete insert set for wood and furniture boards, packed in a clear organizer with compartments. Each furniture insert has an external thread that cuts into the material and a metric thread inside - this creates a durable metal socket for a bolt in the wood that can be screwed and unscrewed many times without damaging the hole.

Use

Threaded inserts are useful when assembling beds, wardrobes, tables, chairs and worktops, when attaching legs, and wherever furniture will be assembled and disassembled. The threaded insert also works in the workshop, e.g. for jigs and templates made of plywood.

Installation

• drill a hole with a diameter matched to the insert size,
• screw the element in with a hex key (hexagonal socket),
• screw in a bolt with the appropriate metric thread.
