BGS 1674 – 11-piece body repair set with slide hammer

A set for straightening bodywork from the outside, built around a heavy 3 kg slide hammer. Various tips and body repair hooks screw onto its shaft, and the sliding weight lets you precisely pull out dented sills, wheel arches, doors or fender edges. It complements classic body hammers when there is no access to the panel from the inside.

When it comes in handy

During body repair after a collision you often need to pull out a dent in a closed profile. The hooks catch on an edge or on welded washers, and single, controlled strikes of the weight bring the panel back out. Combined with dollies and body hammers, this lets you prepare the part for a thin layer of filler.
