Bikers Gear Australia – motorcycle shirt with Kevlar

This flannel shirt from Bikers Gear Australia combines the classic checked look of a casual shirt with protective construction designed for motorcycle riding. The outer layer is made of cotton with a polyester flannel blend, and inside the shirt has a DuPont Kevlar aramid fiber lining of 187 g/m², placed in vulnerable areas: on the sleeves, sides and back.

Protection and armor

The set includes removable elbow, shoulder and back protectors that meet the CE 1621-1 standard. This allows the shirt to serve as an additional protective layer under a jacket or as standalone motorcycle clothing on warmer days.

Cut and finish

The shirt has a classic cut with a snap-fastened collar, adjustable button cuffs and two button-fastened chest pockets. The long sleeves and standard length allow freedom of movement while riding.

Care

The shirt can be machine washed, and it is worth removing the removable protective inserts before washing. The heavy, non-stretch cotton fabric stands up well to everyday use.
