BOOMSTART BS083 - 13 wrenches for the alternator pulley

A specialist set for removing the one-way clutch and alternator pulley. Modern alternators have an overrunning clutch that cannot be removed with an ordinary wrench - you need an alternator tool with the right spline or Torx profile that will hold the shaft.

How it works

With one wrench you lock the alternator shaft, and with the other you unscrew the alternator clutch pulley. This is essential when replacing the pulley or bearings, or during a rebuild, when alternator removal is required. The set fits most alternators from Bosch, Valeo, Denso and others used in popular cars.

Specifications

All the pieces have a black, corrosion-resistant coating or a polished finish, and the case protects them from getting lost. The tools work with an ordinary open-end wrench or a ratchet with a 1/2 inch drive.
