Flylin 7-piece ignition switch set

The complete Flylin ignition switch set is a replacement for the factory locks used in scooters and mopeds with GY6 49–50 cm3 engines, including many models from Taotao, Jonway and Roketa. The set includes an ignition switch with five wires, a control panel lock, a seat lock, a fuel cap lock and two mounting elements, which lets you replace all the locks on the vehicle at once and match them to a single key.

Security and functions

The ignition switch is used to start and stop the engine, the fuel cap lock protects the tank from unauthorized access, and the seat lock secures the compartment under the seat. Such a set is useful when replacing a lost or damaged set of keys and when repairing a corroded or sticking ignition switch.

Compatibility and installation

The set fits many popular GY6 scooters, but it is not suitable for models such as the Kymco Agility 50 – before buying, compare the bolt spacing and wire length with the original ignition switch you are removing. Professional installation is recommended, although the replacement itself does not require specialist equipment.
