Husqvarna 122R – petrol brush cutter for cutting grass and weeds

The Husqvarna 122R is a lightweight petrol brush cutter designed for cutting grass, tall weeds and undergrowth on an allotment, in an orchard, along ditches and fences. It is useful where a lawn mower cannot reach, and an electric trimmer lacks power or there is no outlet.

Engine and performance

It is powered by a two-stroke engine of 21.7 cm³, which provides consistent power when working in thick grass. The cutting width is 43 cm, which allows larger areas to be worked efficiently. The Smart Start function makes starting the engine easier and reduces the force needed to pull the starter cord.

Working comfort

• a bicycle-type handle makes it easier to guide the brush cutter with wide sweeping motions,
• a double harness spreads the weight across both shoulders,
• the weight of the machine is about 5 kg.

The Husqvarna petrol trimmer is well suited to homeowners with gardens and allotment holders who want to keep lawns and wasteland tidy.
