Kumho Portran KC53 195/70 R15C 104R - summer tire for vans

The Kumho summer tire from the Portran KC53 line, in size 195/70 R15C 104R, is intended for vans and light commercial vehicles. The C in the size designation indicates a reinforced construction adapted to carrying loads and a higher gross vehicle weight than typical passenger car tires.

Performance and construction

The manufacturer highlights very high grip and safety when cornering, as well as reduced fuel consumption and a long service life, which matters for intensive, daily operation of a delivery fleet. The non-directional tread and 10-ply radial construction provide stable handling under varying cargo loads.

Parameters and use

Load index 104 and speed index R define the permissible load and maximum speed in line with the intended use on commercial vehicles. The tire fits 15-inch rims. It is recommended to fit them as a set (a pair or four) at a professional tire shop with wheel balancing, taking into account the recommended pressure for commercial vehicles.
