Spurtar TFW0002 – 64 mm Oil Filter Wrench

A socket-type oil filter wrench with an inner diameter of 64 mm and 14 flutes, designed for removing the cap of a cartridge filter housing. It fits 2.5–5.7 l engines that use housing 15620-31060 – including Toyota, Lexus and Scion models.

Why a socket

Plastic cartridge housings are easy to damage with a strap wrench or pliers. The filter socket grips the entire circumference and distributes force evenly, so the cap does not crack or deform. The 3/8 inch drive lets you use a ratchet or torque wrench when tightening.

Construction

• 6061-T5 aluminum,
• black anodized coating,
• precise fit without play,

The tool speeds up oil changes at home and in the workshop, and the lightweight design reduces the risk of damaging the housing when working on a lift.

Specifications

The socket is black and easy to find in the toolbox. Before installing a new filter, it is worth lubricating the gasket with fresh oil.
