DeWALT DCG426N – cordless die grinder XR 18V

The DCG426 is a die grinder (a so-called straight grinder) with a brushless motor reaching up to 25,000 rpm. The tool works with burrs, mounted points and brushes, so it suits deburring edges after cutting, grinding welds in hard-to-reach places, porting and mold work, as well as removing rust and enlarging holes.

Build

• slim, elongated body about 44 cm long
• collet for tool shanks
• paddle switch with a lock against accidental start-up
• rubberized grip surfaces

The long body and narrow head let you reach deep into profiles, pipes and housings where an angle grinder will not fit. The absence of a cord makes work easier in an auto workshop and on steel structures.

Bare tool version

Version without battery and charger – fits any DeWALT XR 18V battery, and for longer work 5 Ah cells work best.
