DeWALT DCW600N – XR 18V cordless trim router

Routing without a cord

The DCW600 is a compact one-handed router powered by DeWALT XR 18V batteries. The brushless motor reaches up to 25,500 rpm, which is enough for chamfering and rounding edges, trimming veneer, routing rebates and cutting grooves in wood and boards. The lack of a cord makes work easier when installing furniture and stairs, when you have to go all the way around a piece.

Features

• speed adjustment with a dial
• precise setting of the routing depth
• fixed base with a transparent plate for easier observation of the bit
• two LEDs lighting the work area
• 8 mm collet

The router alone weighs about 1 kg, so it is easy to guide confidently with one hand. The motor housing has a shape that allows it to be mounted in other DeWALT bases of this family.

Bare tool version

The version without battery and charger – it fits any DeWALT XR 18V battery, and 5 Ah cells work best for longer work.
