The DT2976 is a pair of blades (left and right) for Alligator-type saws. They have a working length of 430 mm and 48 carbide-tipped (HM) teeth. They are intended for cutting porous brick and ceramic blocks with vertical holes, such as POROTHERM, POROTON or UNIPOR, with a strength of up to 20 N/mm2.
The blades fit DeWALT Alligator saws DWE397, DWE398 and DWE399. They are installed as a pair, and the blades move in opposite directions, so the saw does not jerk and cuts with little vibration. The 430 mm length lets you cut through a typical wall block in one pass.
Carbide teeth stay sharp much longer than tool steel when cutting ceramic materials, which quickly dull ordinary blades.
