DeWALT DWD024S - corded hammer drill

Simple and durable

The DWD024S is a single-speed hammer drill powered from a 230 V mains supply. No-load speed reaches 2800 rpm, and switching on the hammer action lets you drill holes in brick, hollow blocks and light concrete. Without hammer action it drills steel and wood. It is a basic tool intended for everyday assembly and renovation work.

Features

• 13 mm keyless chuck with central clamping,
• electronic speed control with the trigger,
• forward and reverse rotation,
• lock switch for continuous operation,
• additional side handle and depth stop.

Applications

The drill is good for hanging shelves, cabinets and lamps, installing curtain rails, drilling for expansion plugs and mixing small amounts of adhesive or grout with a mixing paddle. The letter S stands for the keyless chuck, which lets you change the drill bit without a key. Rubberized grip surfaces improve comfort during longer work.

The compact housing and low weight make the drill easy to hold in one hand, and the extra handle gives a secure support when hammer drilling in harder material.
