A versatile grinder for the workshop

The DWE4217 is a corded angle grinder for 125 mm discs with a 1200 W motor and speeds of up to 11,000 rpm. It has a good power-to-weight ratio, sufficient for most metalworking, renovation and construction jobs. The slim body is comfortable to hold with one hand, and the side handle helps when cutting.

Motor protection

The grinder is fitted with a dust ejection system that cleans contaminants out of the air cooling the motor. As a result it copes well with work on concrete, brick and steel, where fine abrasive dust shortens the life of cheaper grinders. A slide switch with a lock allows continuous operation.

Applications

• cutting metal, pipes and profiles,
• grinding welds and edges,
• cleaning surfaces with wire brushes,
• cutting tiles and stone with a diamond disc.

The tool is powered from the 230 V mains via a cable with a European plug.
