Speed control matched to the task

The DWE4257 is a corded 125 mm grinder with a 1500 W motor and electronic speed control up to 10,500 rpm. Lower speeds are useful for polishing, brushing and working with flap discs, higher ones for cutting and grinding steel. The control dial is placed so that it can be operated without putting the tool down, and the grinder itself has a slim body that is comfortable to grip. The electronics maintain speed under load.

Safety

• overload protection that switches the tool off until it cools down.

Dust resistance

A dust ejection system cleans the air that cools the motor, and the windings are coated with epoxy resin. As a result, the grinder tolerates work in dusty environments well, for example with concrete and welding.
