DeWALT DWE46225 – cutting shroud with dust extraction, 125 mm

Cutting concrete without a cloud of dust

The DWE46225 is a dust extraction shroud mounted on angle grinders for 125 mm discs. It encloses the diamond blade in a housing with a port for connecting an industrial vacuum cleaner, so the dust generated when cutting concrete, paving stones, brick or tiles is sucked away right at the source. This is important for the operator's health and the tidiness of the room.

Construction

• roller base that makes it easier to guide along the surface,
• cutting depth adjustment,
• flap for cutting right next to a wall,
• port for the vacuum hose,
• cutting line indicator.

Use

The shroud works well for cutting chases and expansion joints, trimming concrete slabs and paving stones, and for renovation work in occupied rooms. It fits DeWALT 125 mm grinders, both corded and cordless. It gives the best results when combined with an M-class vacuum cleaner.
