ECOWITT WH52 + GW1200 - a set of four soil sensors with WiFi gateway

The combination of four WH52 probes and the GW1200 gateway provides a complete system for monitoring soil moisture, temperature and electrical conductivity in different parts of the garden, with data viewable in a phone app.

One gateway, many sensors

The GW1200 gateway supports up to 16 WH52 sensors at once, so within a 100-meter radius you can monitor soil data from many beds, pots or the lawn at the same time.

Three measurements in one probe

Capacitive technology measures soil moisture, an additional sensor checks root temperature, and the EC electrode assesses salinity and the level of nutrients in the soil solution - which makes it easier to plan watering and fertilizing.

Setup and data viewing

After connecting the GW1200 gateway to WiFi, data from the sensors is available in the Ecowitt app in real time, and a simple red LED on each probe indicates transmission status and possible faults.

Soil and temperature monitoring

Each soil moisture sensor also works as a soil temperature tester, which makes ongoing soil monitoring in different parts of the garden easier from a single place.
