ECOWITT WH52 – set of four 3-in-1 soil moisture sensors

The set of four wireless WH52 probes lets you monitor several spots in the garden, on the lawn or in pots at the same time – each probe measures soil moisture, temperature and electrical conductivity (EC).

Capacitive moisture measurement

The soil moisture sensor uses capacitive technology based on the dielectric constant of the soil – the highest readings appear in water, the lowest in dry air. As a result the data accurately reflects the actual hydration of the soil and makes it easier to choose a suitable watering schedule.

Root temperature and soil conductivity

The built-in thermometer checks the conditions directly at the roots rather than the air temperature. The soil EC sensor indicates the concentration of dissolved salts in the soil solution, which helps assess the level of salinity and plant fertilization.

Wireless transmission

Each WH52 probe has no display of its own – data is sent by radio to a compatible Ecowitt gateway or console (sold separately) within a range of up to 100 meters. A simple red LED indicates transmission status and any fault.

Soil meter for many plants at once

The set works as a multi-channel soil meter and plant hygrometer – it suits the garden as well as monitoring soil in pots on a balcony or at home – convenient soil monitoring without leaving the house.
