Stanley FatMax SFMEE500S – sander for large surfaces

The Stanley FatMax SFMEE500S is a corded sander with a slim, elongated body, designed for sanding walls, ceilings and other large, flat surfaces. Adjustable speed lets you match the tool to the material and finishing stage – from rough sanding to gentle smoothing before painting.

Performance and precision

Powered by a mains-driven motor (230 V), the sander reaches up to 1700 rpm, which means efficient removal of unevenness on plaster and plasterboard. The sanding pad has a diameter of 225 mm, and the Paper Assistant applicator system makes it quick and easy to attach sandpaper accurately so it does not shift during work.

Design for hard-to-reach places

The narrow, slim body makes it easier to work at edges, in corners and in other hard-to-reach parts of walls where wider disc sanders do not work well. The solid 3.7 kg construction keeps the tool stable to guide, and the comfortable handle makes it easier to control pressure during longer work.

Use in renovation

The tool is suited to preparing walls and ceilings before painting, smoothing filler and removing old paint coatings.
