Tamiya 74076 – A3 cutting mat for model makers

The Tamiya 74076 cutting mat is a classic workshop mat designed with model makers in mind. It protects the table top from cuts when working with a scalpel, hobby knife or scissors and provides an even, stable surface for cutting cardboard, plastic, foil and paper.

The surface is green and has a printed grid with angle lines, arcs and circles, so without a ruler you can easily measure and cut parts at the right angle or along an arc. The A3 format, that is about 42 by 29.7 cm at a thickness of 0.2 cm, fits large sheets and parts and still fits on a desk.

The non-slip underside limits the mat from shifting during work, which improves safety and cutting accuracy. The mat only needs to be wiped, and after work is done it can be stored flat. A product of the Japanese brand Tamiya, known for tools and accessories for model makers.
