DeWALT DXTT-2-760 – automatic taping tool for drywall

Tape and compound in one pass

The DeWALT DXTT-2-760 automatic taping tool is used for finishing joints between drywall boards. The device simultaneously applies a layer of joint compound and paper reinforcing tape to flat seams and inside corners. This replaces manually applying compound, cutting and pressing in the tape, which allows finishing crews to work many times faster, also on a ceiling without scaffolding.

Durable construction

• body made of extruded, hard-anodized aluminum tube, easy to clean
• milled head made of corrosion-resistant aluminum
• side plates, cable drums and drive chain made of stainless steel
• built-in trigger-operated blade for cutting the tape
• idle-rotation system that reduces resistance when moving the tool

Taping drywall joints with this tool means applying joint compound and reinforcing tape in one motion, which significantly shortens working time on large surfaces, especially on ceilings and long walls in new construction.
