AVASTA Hesper 20 inch – Freestyle BMX bike

The AVASTA Hesper 20 is a Freestyle BMX bike created for young riders taking their first steps in street riding and skateparks. Its solid construction and thoughtful details make it suitable both for riding around town and for simple tricks on ramps and curbs.

Frame and construction

The frame is made of Hi-Ten alloy steel, known for impact resistance and a long life – a material typical of BMX bikes that have to withstand jumps and falls. The 20-inch wheels sit on aluminum rims with 36 spokes, providing stiffness and stability during dynamic riding.

Drivetrain and brakes

The bike has a single gear with a one-piece 165 mm crank and a 25T chainring, which simplifies the design and limits the number of parts needing maintenance. Braking is handled by an aluminum U-brake operated by a hand lever – a system that is simple to use and easy to adjust. The gyro (rotor) allowing the handlebars to turn 360 degrees makes basic tricks easier.

Who it is for

The manufacturer recommends this model for children and teenagers from about 140 cm tall (rider height range 4'7" to 6'1"), so mainly for boys over 6 years old and teenagers. The BMX design with a low frame standover makes it easy to get on and off the bike even when playing in the park.

Assembly and equipment

The bike arrives about 85% assembled, with the set of assembly tools needed to finish putting it together – you only need to attach the handlebars, saddle and pedals. The set also includes frame pads (BMX pads) that protect the head tube from scuffs during tricks.
