Dynavox X4100B – mains filter for audio equipment

A power strip for Hi-Fi systems, designed to eliminate interference coming from the mains into amplifiers, players and other components of an audio setup. The solid aluminum housing in a classic rectangular shape looks good in a rack next to other audio equipment.

Filtering and outlets

The strip has 8 outlets in total - 4 filtered, reducing mains interference that affects sound quality, and 4 unfiltered for other devices. An LED indicates correct polarity (phase) of the connection, which makes it easier to plug into the wall socket properly.

Safety

Built-in overload protection up to 10 A cuts the power if the connected devices draw too much current. The strip also has a power on/off switch.

Use

Recommended for audio setups - sound systems, speakers, CD/DVD/Blu-ray players, streamers, receivers or amplifiers. Keep in mind that the filter reduces interference from the power supply but does not eliminate hum generated inside the individual connected devices.
