Emoshayoga 6J1 Tube Preamplifier

A stereo preamplifier board with a 6J1 vacuum tube, intended for audio DIY enthusiasts and home tube electronics. It adds the characteristic warm sound known from classic tube amplifiers.

Construction and components

The FE-6J1-2 circuit is built on a carefully optimized design that uses non-polar MET series capacitors, high-frequency electrolytic capacitors and precision resistors. At its heart is a military-grade 6J1 tube, responsible for the characteristic signal amplification.

Power and filtering

The board is powered by 12 V AC and has a boost function that imitates the operation of a high-pressure tube. An 8x470 µF capacitor filter provides a clean and stable power signal, reducing interference and background noise.

Operation

The compact board, measuring about 15 x 11 x 3 cm, has a power switch and a volume control knob, so it can be plugged directly into a home stereo audio system.
