Garmin 010-12769-00 – active boat speaker with Bluetooth

This is an active speaker intended for mounting on a boat, acting as a subwoofer in a simple 2.0 audio system. The device has a built-in amplifier, so to play music you only need to add a sound source – a separate external amplifier is not needed.

Power and configuration

The maximum output power of the speaker is 330 W, and the driver has a diameter of 4.4 inches. The speaker works in a 2.0 channel configuration, that is, as a bass supplement for a pair of satellite speakers on board.

Bluetooth connectivity and mounting

The audio signal can be sent wirelessly thanks to the built-in Bluetooth, and the included remote is used to control playback. The speaker is mounted on a tabletop bracket, which makes it easy to place in the cockpit or cabin of the boat. Power is supplied by a battery, so the speaker works independently of the boat's electrical system and can be moved to another spot if needed.
