Garmin 010-12827-00 – throttle actuator for Reactor 40 Kicker autopilot

Garmin 010-12827-00 – Reactor 40 Kicker throttle actuator
The Reactor 40 Kicker autopilot uses this throttle actuator to automatically control the speed of an auxiliary engine mounted next to the boat's main drive. The actuator mechanically moves the throttle lever, so the autopilot system can adjust engine speed on its own without input from the helmsman.
Use
An auxiliary engine, commonly called a kicker, is mounted next to the boat's main propulsion unit and is used mainly for trolling, that is, slow, even movement over the fishing ground. This throttle actuator is responsible for exactly this automatic, precise control of the auxiliary engine speed within the Reactor 40 Kicker system. The component works only with the other components of this specific autopilot and does not function as a standalone device.
Service use
The actuator is sometimes ordered as a spare part when the original component in an already installed Reactor 40 Kicker system fails. Before buying, make sure your autopilot actually uses this component, as it does not fit other Garmin autopilot models.
Build
The actuator housing is black. A battery is not included in the set — the device is powered from the installation of the autopilot to which it is permanently connected.
