Powerful through-hull transducer

The Airmar B175HW is a through-hull fishfinder transducer with a power of 1 kW, made of bronze resistant to corrosion in salt water. The housing protrudes below the hull only slightly, so the element can be mounted without additional fairing even on boats resting on rollers or trailer supports - with no risk of damage when launching and retrieving.

CHIRP support and deadrise angle

The transducer supports CHIRP technology, which means clearer distinction between fish and bottom structure and better target separation in the water column. The version marked 12 degrees is intended for hulls with a deadrise angle of about 12 degrees at the mounting point, so that the element sits vertically relative to the bottom despite the slope of the hull.

Connector and compatibility

The model has an 8-pin connector, compatible with some Garmin fishfinders and chartplotters that support this standard. Before buying, it is worth verifying the socket type on your device, because not every Garmin unit uses an 8-pin plug.
