Garmin (Airmar B619) – bronze thru-hull transducer 12°, 77/200 kHz

This is a fishfinder transducer carrying Garmin part number 010-10217-22, made by Airmar as model B619. The housing is bronze, and the transducer is designed for thru-hull mounting, that is, passing through the boat's hull.

Use

This type of mounting works well at higher speeds and is recommended for fiberglass and metal hulls. The unit has a built-in 12-degree tilt, matched to the deadrise angle typical of many motorboats.

Frequency and range

The transducer works on two frequencies - 77/200 kHz, which combines a wide viewing angle with greater detail of the bottom image. The maximum measuring range is about 206 m.

Connection
