Garmin Airmar P19 – plastic thru-hull transducer for through-hull mounting

The P19 transducer (catalog number 010-10218-22) is a plastic sonar sensor intended for through-hull mounting, that is, permanently in a hole in the bottom of the boat. It works well at high speeds and cooperates well with fiberglass and metal hulls; the manufacturer states that it is not suitable for wooden hulls.

Sonar parameters

It is an 8-pin transducer with a power of 500 W, operating at frequencies of 77/200 kHz, with a beam width of 45 and 15 degrees depending on the frequency. The maximum depth declared by the manufacturer is 274 meters.
