Garmin GT23M-TM – CHIRP fish finder transducer

The GT23M-TM is a transducer mounted on the boat's transom, designed to work with compatible Garmin fish finders. The housing is made of plastic, and the connection to the head unit is made through an 8-pin cable connector.

Sonar operating modes

The transducer supports traditional CHIRP sonar in the center frequency range from 80 to 160 kHz with a rated power of 600 W, which makes it possible to clearly tell fish arches from bottom structures. It also offers a CHIRP-ClearVu mode at 260/455 kHz with a power of 500 W, giving a more detailed, almost photographic image of what is beneath the boat.

Intended use

The solution works both for inshore fishing and in deeper waters, where precise echo separation matters. Transom mounting (on the rear of the boat) makes installation easier without interfering with the boat's hull.
