The GT34UHD-TH is a Garmin fishfinder transducer designed to work with fishfinders and chartplotters that support Ultra High Definition (UHD) technology. It operates on two frequencies, 0.8 MHz and 1.2 MHz, which translates into a very precise, sharp image of the bottom, structure and individual fish, clearer than with standard CHIRP transducers. Resolution of this type is especially useful when looking for individual fish in dense vegetation or around underwater structures.

Thru-hull mounting

The transducer is installed thru-hull, that is, in a hole drilled in the bottom of the hull, which provides a stable mount and good contact with the water regardless of boat speed. This type of installation requires more precision than transom-mounted solutions, so it is worth entrusting it to someone experienced in marine electronics.

Compatibility

The part works only with Garmin fishfinders and chartplotters adapted to handle sonar in the Ultra High Definition standard - before buying, check whether your device supports this mode, because older models may not.
