Garmin GT50M-THP – thru-hull transducer with 16° tilt
Tilted version for hulls with deadrise
The GT50M-THP is a Garmin thru-hull transducer with a housing tilted by 16 degrees, intended for installation in hulls with a suitable deadrise angle at the installation point. Thanks to this tilt, the sonar element sits as vertically as possible relative to the bottom, even though the hull planking at this point is sloped.
DownVü imaging
The model supports DownVü imaging, showing a detailed, photo-like picture of the bottom directly under the boat, which makes it easier to recognize the bottom structure and places where fish may be. This image is especially useful when looking for submerged structures such as wrecks, logs or clusters of underwater vegetation.
Installation and connector
The transducer is equipped with a 12-pin stainless steel stem and a mounting kit including a fairing block, an insulating plate with bushings and installation instructions. Before buying, it is worth comparing the tilt angle with the actual deadrise angle of your own hull to get the best representation of the bottom.
