Garmin transducer spray shield

The transducer spray shield is a small but useful piece of equipment for a boat fitted with a Garmin fish finder. Its job is to reduce the amount of water sprayed by the transducer housing when traveling at higher speed, which helps keep the device working cleaner and limits splashing around the transom.

Applications

This transducer spray shield is intended for transom-mount transducers from the GT20, GT21, GT30, GT40, GT41, GT50 and GT51 series in the Side Vu and Down Vu versions, that is, the side-scanning and down-imaging technology used in Garmin fish finders and chartplotters. It is installed directly on the existing transducer mount, without the need to drill additional holes in the hull.
